happy bday to me i guess. i dont know if theres really anyone out there waiting for the next djfunykity album drop, but if you are, this is likely gonna be the last one. ive spent the last year of my life in complete agony that randomly set in and seems to have no end. ive been poked and prodded and dragged around to every doctor in existence but few of them seem to care all that much or have any idea whats wrong. oh well. at least ive had time in my sedentary isolation to go back and listen to the music that got me started.

this selection of tracks was ripped from a CD i uncovered in my room recently. you can tell theyre old because theyre a lot more drum n bass than speedcore, and honestly they were just slapped together from samples laying around on my laptop. most if not all of them were never shared outside of a few skype chats and the car i mustve played this in. theyre from a much earlier time in my life when i had no idea what direction i wanted to go with my music, who my audience would be, what presence i would have... all i knew was i probably had a whole life of raving ahead of me. thats all gone now, and i don't know if ill ever get to be the person who made these songs again.

to those reading this, thanks so much for the love over the years. it really warms my heart to know that a piece of my old fun loving self will always be out there making people happy. even if it involves blowing their ears out with loud, horrible music. im probably always gonna miss this.

the bass on this is perfect, my god. the heaviness and the grit is perfect, and the fact that ya hear that from beginning to end is FANTASTIC!! i especially love the inclusion of more high-pitched instrumentals like the pianos, namely. and when they leave, oh Goddddd does it get real hardcore. this really is ultra demonpowered supercharged hardcore, no joke. not only that, this album is Hellaaaa innovative with its composition. some seriously good sequences (esp w the chiptune) going on, love it Molly
